Life sketch | Earl Christensen passed quietly away on October 19, 1999 of natural causes.He was born July 30, 1912 in Glenco, Idaho. His parents were Martin and Lula Egley Christensen. He married LeOra Kirby Nov. 12, 1936, in Logan, Utah. Later solemnized in the Logan Temple.He was an active and dedicated member of the LDS Church and served in the Bishopric, High Council, Elders Quorum President, Supt. of the Sunday School, High Priest Group Leader and Scout Master.He is survived by his wife, LeOra; three children, Arlene, Lynn and Carolyn. He has eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is survived by one sister, Clara Jepsen.He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Family and friends may attend the viewing Thursday, Oct. 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, located at 4760 S. State St, Murray. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary on Friday, Oct. 22. He will be buried at Memorial Estate Cemetery, located at 6500 S.
