| Life sketch | Jon LeRoy Bringhurst, 84, returned to his Heavenly home on July 6, 2022, surrounded by his children.He was born November 18, 1937, in Pocatello, Idaho to Gilbert and Ruth Bringhurst. He was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple to his beautiful wife Pat, for time and all eternity on February 13, 1961.He joined the United States Marine Corps when he turned 18. He served our great country and was able to visit many places. A fellow marine introduced him to his little sister Pat, who then became his loving wife of 56 years.Jon thought education was important and he diligently continued his schooling at nights to earn his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Utah.He worked as a cab driver and for S&H Green Stamps and then built his career as a cost analyst at Hercules for 33 years and was able to retire early in 1994.He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all his life.
